마음펫(이하 "앱")은 이용자가 매일의 감정과 이야기를 캐릭터에게 들려주면, 그 기록이 쌓여 캐릭터가 이용자를 닮아가며 자라는 앱입니다. 앱은 회원가입이나 로그인 없이 동작하며, 개발자가 운영하는 서버가 없습니다.
감정을 다루는 앱이기에 다음 원칙을 지킵니다. 대화·감정 기록·기억은 기기 밖으로 나가지 않으며, 광고 목적으로 사용되지 않습니다. 인터넷이 없어도 앱의 모든 핵심 기능이 동작합니다.
없습니다. 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 생년월일, 위치, 연락처, 사진 등 이용자를 식별할 수 있는 정보를 수집하거나 개발자에게 전송하지 않습니다. 이용자가 캐릭터에게 들려준 대화 내용도 개발자가 열람할 수 없습니다.
앱의 기능을 위해 아래 정보가 이용자의 기기 안(앱 전용 저장 공간)에만 저장됩니다. 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
"이번 달 이야기"의 자주 등장한 사람·자주 꺼낸 말 같은 집계도 모두 기기 안에서 계산되며 외부로 보내지 않습니다.
이용자가 설정 → 내 데이터에서 백업을 만들면, 이용자가 정한 비밀번호로 암호화(AES-GCM)된 파일이 이용자가 선택한 위치에 저장됩니다. 개발자는 이 파일과 비밀번호에 접근할 수 없습니다.
이용자가 설정에서 "AI 확장 모드"를 켜고 기기가 지원하는 경우(예: 일부 Pixel·Galaxy 기기), 캐릭터의 답변을 기기에 내장된 AI(Android: 온디바이스 AI Gemini Nano, iPhone: Apple Intelligence가 켜진 기기의 Apple Foundation Models)가 만듭니다.
앱은 이용자가 직접 선택해서 보는 보상형 광고만 사용합니다(미니게임 보상 두 배 등). 감정 기록·대화 화면에는 광고를 넣지 않습니다. AdMob은 광고 제공과 부정 클릭 방지를 위해 아래 정보를 수집·처리할 수 있으며, 이 정보는 Google이 수집하는 것으로 개발자에게 전달되지 않습니다.

대화·감정 기록·기억 내용은 광고에 사용되지 않으며 AdMob에 전달되지 않습니다.
맞춤 광고를 원하지 않으시면 안드로이드 기기의 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 광고에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있습니다.
iPhone에서는 앱을 처음 실행할 때 Apple의 앱 추적 투명성(ATT) 동의 창이 나타납니다. 거부해도 앱의 모든 기능을 그대로 쓸 수 있으며, 이 경우 IDFA가 전달되지 않고 맞춤형이 아닌 광고가 표시됩니다. 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
코인 상품 구매는 Android에서는 Google Play 결제, iPhone에서는 Apple App Store 결제로 처리됩니다. 결제 수단 등 결제 정보는 Google 또는 Apple이 처리하며 개발자는 받지 않습니다. 앱은 구매 완료 여부만 확인해 코인을 지급합니다.
이용자가 켠 경우에만 "이야기 시간" 알림과 "편지 도착" 알림을 보냅니다. 알림은 기기 안에서 예약·생성되는 로컬 알림이며, 알림을 위해 정보를 외부로 보내지 않습니다. 설정에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.

연락처, 위치, 사진·미디어, 마이크, 카메라, 통화 기록 등 다른 권한은 요청하지 않습니다.

개발자는 어린이를 포함한 어떤 이용자로부터도 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보가 수집된 정황을 알게 되는 경우 지체 없이 필요한 조치를 취하겠습니다.
개발자가 보관하는 이용자의 개인정보는 없습니다. 기기에 저장된 정보는 이용자가 직접 관리합니다.
법령이나 서비스 내용이 바뀌면 본 방침을 수정할 수 있습니다. 내용이 변경되는 경우 앱 업데이트와 본 페이지를 통해 알려드리며, 변경된 방침은 게시한 날부터 적용됩니다.

MindPet requires no sign-up and the developer operates no servers. The developer collects no personal information. Conversations, mood logs, and memories are stored only on the user's device and are never transmitted. The network is used only for ads and in-app purchases; all core features work offline.
Pet data, the user's conversations and the pet's replies, mood logs (type, intensity, short memo), saved memories, weekly letters, growth snapshots, monthly summaries, coins/items, and settings are stored in the app's private storage and never leave the device. Optional backups are encrypted with a user-chosen password (AES-GCM) and saved where the user chooses.
If the user enables "AI mode" on a supported device, replies are generated by the device's built-in AI (Gemini Nano on Android; Apple Foundation Models on iPhones with Apple Intelligence). Processing happens on the device and the app does not send conversation content to the developer or any external server. Model installation is managed by the operating system.
Google AdMob — only opt-in rewarded ads are shown, never on mood-logging or conversation screens. AdMob may process the advertising ID, Android ad services data, device model and OS version, language/country, IP address and approximate location, and ad interaction records. This data is collected by Google, not shared with the developer, and conversation or mood content is never used for ads. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android. On iPhone, the App Tracking Transparency prompt is optional; if declined, the IDFA is not shared and non-personalized ads are shown. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — coin purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Payment details are handled by Google or Apple; the app only verifies purchase completion to grant coins.
Reminder and "letter arrived" notifications are local, scheduled on the device, and sent only if the user turns them on. Permissions: INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (ads, purchases), POST_NOTIFICATIONS and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED (notifications), BILLING (in-app purchases), AD_ID and ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* (AdMob), AICore BIND_SERVICE (optional on-device AI), and VIBRATE, WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE (used internally by the ad and notification libraries). On iPhone, only notification permission and App Tracking Transparency consent are requested. No contacts, location, media, microphone, or camera access is requested.

The developer retains no personal information. You can view, edit, or delete any memory in the Memory tab, erase all data in Settings → My Data, or uninstall the app to remove everything.
